This vision is part of Leicester’s 25 year sustainable communities strategy, One Leicester - shaping Britain's sustainable city
The strategy was shaped by the Leicester Partnership in consultation with a wide range of people and organisations across the city. It also draws on contributions from an open invitation to partners and to the public to submit proposals, comments and ideas for their vision for Leicester and how they might transform Leicester into a sustainable city. The strategy is part of a new initiative aimed at raising the regional, national and international profile of Leicester. Under the title ‘One Leicester’ this exciting initiative will provide a showcase for the many opportunities available for businesses, investors and visitors, as well as encouraging local pride in the city.
